Managing Director at TEGEOS
Thomas Jakob is Managing Director of TEGEOS, a consultancy firm he founded in 2009 to help clients develop successful go-to-market strategies for high-tech solutions in Asia Pacific and to master the digital transformation of their businesses.
In his corporate life he serves as Regional President, Bosch.IO Asia Pacific – the digital services and solutions business unit of Bosch – in Asia Pacific. Having led the company’s regional team since 2012, he is delivering AI-enabled IoT solutions to various sectors including home and building, smart cities, transportation, agriculture and others.
Thomas has over 25 years of experience in the ICT industry in Europe and Asia in management, marketing, finance, and business development roles. Prior to joining Bosch, he served as regional CEO and CFO of T-Systems and Deutsche Telekom, respectively, in Asia Pacific as well as for Hewlett Packard and Nortel in Europe. Thomas holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Dieburg, Germany, and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
