Partner at Daylight Design

Daniel Kim is a partner at Daylight Design, and heads the Seoul studio for the global innovation consultancy. Daniel is a leader and practitioner of human centered innovation, or Design Thinking, for over 25 years.

Daniel started his career at IDEO, and has worked at a number of startups in Silicon Valley, including Palm Computing and Handspring as a designer. Prior to joining Daylight in 2013, Daniel was the CEO of Nexon America and Head of Brand Strategy at Nexon, one of the largest on-line game companies in the world. At Daylight, Daniel has helped many companies - from Fortune 500 to soon-to-be unicorns - and social impact foundations discover unmet needs of their customers and create user inspired innovations.

Daniel holds a Masters in Product Design and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford, and served as one of the founding teaching teams at the Stanford d.school.
